Until 2004 Universal operated as a distributor of security products including CCTV, Videodoorphone, Intruder Alarm, Metal Detectors, Card Access & Turnstiles, Antishoplifting.

Universal Products are used in major Turkish banks, large industrial complexes, hypermarket chains, shopping malls, embassies, stadiums, hotels, vip residences, large housing projects etc etc.

In cooperation with international contractors Universal has installed systems for large housing projects, business centers, hypermarkets, factories, hospitals, casinos, in Russia, Azerbaycan, Uzbekistan, Kazakistan , Romania.

Since 2004 Universal has concentrated on developing new technologies in CCTV and in Wireless Security applications.

Universal has in particular developed advanced Infra Red illuminators used for night vision in CCTV systems in a growing range of applications
